Frequently Asked Questions
We offer both options. Store credit typically receives a higher value and can be used on anything in-store.
Yes. We regularly purchase full collections of trading cards, video games, consoles, electronics, and collectibles.
Sorting is not required, but it can help speed up the evaluation process and may help us identify higher-value cards more efficiently.
Smaller trades are often completed quickly. Larger collections may take additional time depending on volume. When possible, we assign multiple staff members to larger evaluations to speed up the process.
Yes. Drop-offs are available for larger trades. Our team will contact you once the evaluation is complete.
Payment is provided immediately once you accept the offer.
No problem — there is never any obligation to sell. You are always free to decline.
Sometimes. Value depends on condition, rarity, repair feasibility, and market demand.
Yes, we do accept consoles without accessories. However, missing controllers, cables, or other components will reduce the trade-in value.
We reference trusted market sources such as PriceCharting and recent eBay sold listings, along with current retail demand.
For trading cards, we primarily reference TCGplayer market values. If a comparable listing is unavailable, we review completed eBay sales and other market data to determine a fair offer.
Yes. We purchase a wide variety of items including electronics, collectibles, gaming accessories, and more. If you’re unsure, feel free to email us with details and we’ll let you know.
All trades require a valid government-issued ID.
- 18+ – State-issued ID or passport required
- Under 18 – Must be accompanied by a parent or guardian with valid ID
⚠️ Military IDs cannot be accepted because our system cannot input the required ID format.
To keep the process fair and efficient:
- Under 18: Pick 1 card, then 1 additional card after the first is completed. Remaining cards will be processed together.
- 18+: Pick up to 5 cards to be priced individually. Remaining cards will be processed together.
For large collections, we may start with a “Pick 5” review to make sure we are aligned on pricing before continuing with the rest of the collection.
To speed up the process:
- Separate bulk from higher-value cards
- Cards not separated may be taken as bulk
- Cards under $1.50 on TCGPlayer are considered bulk
- Cards in poor condition may also be classified as bulk
Review TCGPlayer’s condition guide and inspect cards under good lighting.
We use current market data including:
- TCGPlayer market pricing
- eBay sold/completed listings when needed
Final offers depend on condition, market value, demand, and quantity.
Typically no. We wait about 2 weeks after a new set releases before buying those cards. This allows prices to stabilize since they often fluctuate heavily during release week.
⚠️ Prerelease cards do not count toward the 2-week window.
Yes. Having an expected value in mind helps speed up the process.
Customers are always welcome to make a counteroffer. Many people assume our offer is set in stone, but there is often some flexibility, especially when choosing store credit instead of cash.
Yes. For larger trades we may offer an overnight evaluation.
- A trade form must be signed
- Processing may take several days depending on volume
- Once contacted with the offer, you have 30 days to complete the trade before items may be forfeited.
No. We do not provide formal appraisals, but we are happy to make you an offer.
Yes. Signed items must include a verifiable Certificate of Authenticity (COA).
Examples include:
- PSA
- Beckett
- CGC
If you are unsure whether your COA is accepted, please contact us before bringing the item in.
Items should be:
- Clean
- Complete when possible
- In good working condition
Better condition generally results in better trade value.
Trading Cards
- Code cards
- Basic Energy cards
- Basic Lands
- For sports cards, we typically do not accept most cards from the 1980s–1990s unless they are major rookie cards or other high-value exceptions.
Gaming Accessories
- 3rd-party accessories (non Nintendo, Sony or Microsoft)
- Used or loose headsets without packaging
Consoles
- Original PS3
- Xbox 360 White console OG
- Xbox One Black OG Console
When checking values online, make sure you are looking at actual sold prices, not just listing prices.
Many cards may be listed for high amounts but never actually sell at those prices. We recommend checking eBay sold/completed listings or TCGPlayer market price to see realistic market value.
Online marketplaces reflect retail selling prices. Selling online also includes fees, shipping costs, time, and return risk, which is why in-store trade offers are typically lower than retail listings.
When you trade items to a store, you receive instant payment with no fees, no shipping, and no waiting for a buyer. Because of this, stores typically pay a percentage of the current market value, depending on condition, demand, and how quickly the item is expected to sell.
Our goal is to offer fair and competitive pricing while keeping the process fast and convenient.
