Sell Your Sealed Pokémon Products
Turn your sealed Pokémon products into cash or receive even more value with Play and Talk store credit.
All offers are based on the product's current verified market value at the time of in-store inspection.

Sword & Shield Series and Older
Sealed Product Policies
Review the sections below before bringing in your sealed products. Final eligibility and pricing are determined during the in-store inspection.
Sealed Product Requirements
To qualify for the rates listed above:
- Products must be authentic, factory sealed, and untampered with.
- Packaging must be clean and in resellable condition.
- Products must not show signs of resealing, altered shrink wrap, replaced contents, or other tampering.
- All products must be inspected in-store before an offer can be finalized.
- A valid government-issued ID is required to complete a trade.
English Products and Newly Released Products
We currently purchase English-language Pokémon products only. Japanese, Korean, Chinese, and other imported or foreign-language Pokémon products are not accepted.
Products released within the previous 14 days are not eligible for the standard rates listed above.
During the first 14 days after a product's official U.S. release, Play and Talk may decline the product or offer a different rate based on market stability, demand, quantity, and current inventory.
Minor Packaging Damage
Products with minor tears, punctures, dents, or other small packaging defects may still be accepted.
Minor packaging damage will generally reduce the listed cash and store-credit rates by 10 percentage points. However, all damaged products are evaluated case by case, and the final reduction may be greater depending on the location and severity of the damage, current demand, and our ability to resell the product.
Play and Talk may refuse any product when the damage is too severe for the item to be resold.
Damaged Boxes, Stickers, and Printed Prices
Products with damaged outer packaging, large price labels, printed retail prices, security stickers, anti-theft stickers, or other non-removable stickers may receive a lower offer.
Depending on the condition, these products may be valued based on the current market value of the sealed booster packs or other contents inside rather than the market value of the complete sealed product.
The value of the individual packs or contents may be lower than the value of an undamaged complete collection box.
Products We May Refuse
We may refuse products with:
- Major rips, punctures, or crushed packaging
- Water damage, staining, dirt, mold, or strong odors
- Missing or heavily damaged outer packaging
- Altered, loose, cut, or suspicious shrink wrap
- Signs of opening, resealing, or tampering
- Non-removable stickers that significantly cover or damage the packaging
- Excessive quantities of products we already have in stock
Theme decks, battle decks, starter products, and other sealed items that are not primarily booster-pack products may receive a lower rate or may be declined.
How Market Value Is Determined
When available, Play and Talk may use established marketplace pricing, including TCGplayer Market Price.
For older, rare, or unusual products without reliable marketplace pricing, we may use recent verified sold listings from eBay or other comparable market data.
Current online asking prices, unsold listings, original retail prices, and the price Play and Talk sells an item for do not determine the trade value.
Final Offer Policy
Final offers are based on:
- Current verified market value
- Product condition
- Current demand
- Quantity being traded
- Market stability
- Current Play and Talk inventory
- Our ability to safely verify and resell the product
The advertised rates are not guaranteed until the product has been physically inspected and approved by Play and Talk.
Rates, eligibility requirements, and purchasing policies are subject to change at any time without notice. The rates and policies in effect at the time of the in-store inspection will determine the final offer.
Play and Talk reserves the right to reduce an offer or refuse any product or trade for any reason.
